wonderful.... in my eye's

 First things first... HAPPY EASTER!
2nd: Meet PICKSIE!
She is our newest member of the family. She is a Teacup Schnauzer,
so much fun, so much work and is completely adorable! Stella is doing pretty good
at adjusting and being bossed around by a 3 1/2 lb. beanie baby.
3rd:
Keaton has 2 more missing teeth. He was super happy to have his tooth fairy "Walter"
come and leave him some green! He really is smiling in this picture, just hard to get
a picture of those bottom teeth!
 4th:
I saved the best for last, kinda, a ButterDREAM cookie from
Normandie. NUFF SAID!

My Quest......... for today

My Aunt Jill is hosting her bunko (or bunco however you like) this month. She is doing her theme: The Royal Wedding. Super Fun. She has all these fun prizes to do with England and such. Her menu is yummy and she was looking for a dessert. Well, I went on a quest. It was to find in Salt Lake or Holladay which "English Scone" she should serve and that we liked best.
Here are the results:
The smallish one: from Pierre's Bakery (3300 So 3200 E - by REI) DEVINE! It's Lemon and is dense and I devoured it in about a half a second.
The pink one: from Great Harvest in Holladay - Super yummy! It's Raspberry, kinda a breadish and grainy, none the less still taste's like a scone and super flavorful and is buttery good!
The blue dotted: from The Normandie (by the old Cottonwood Mall) - Fantastic! It's blueberry and not as bready as the raspberry one, yet alot more smooth than I thought it would be.
The Winner..... The LEMON is my favorite, and as I recall, Jill's also.
She is serving them all!

Just a few other delish treats from The Normandie!
Really, you cant go wrong there!

Dropping a Note..........

We were out to eat at the local OG over the weekend and our waitress was nice enough to drop us a little note..... I am going to start this, maybe not exactly this way. I am changing my ways and looking for the good in things, and going to take NOTE in them. Give those that deserve it some good old RECOGNITION!
