Aiden and Keaton . . . Umm that's not how We do it in our Church!

So the Pickrell family is all about quoting movie lines. It is funny to hear a 5 year old crack a quick one about Clark Griswald at the perfect time. So we are also huge fans of Nacho Libre, and this being the big year for Ethan to turn 8 and be baptized we have been talking a lot about it.

So I was helping Ethan at the kitchen counter with his spelling words and the twins were in the tub and we hear Aiden say. . . ."Keaton, You are baptized", big huge splash. . . Keaton says. . ."Why do you always have to be judging me, because I only believe in science". Needless to say we have a little work to be done with them. I really think Ethan is on the right track, but those twins of ours keep throwing us for a loop!

Happy Bithrday Boys! 5 and We Are Still Alive!

Wow, is all I can say. I think we have celebrated for about 3 weeks now. It is really getting kinda old! But needless to say, they are now 5! Yes, it has been 5 years and I am considering this a HUGE milestone. I would put picture of them opening their gifts this morning, but wait. . . they opened them before anyone else got up. So pretty much, they said Happy Birthday to themselves. That is just how these twins are. They don't need (or want) anyone else. They have each other, and are happy that way!

This is Aiden and Keaton's party at Bonsai! Steak and Shrimp for all! It was a good time, had the whole place to ourselves and it's a good thing because we would have drove everyone away! (Don't mind Ethan and Ryan, they are just practicing being posers, also a side note: I got my hair done the very next day, I think my new name would have been Lassie if not. Woof!)

Ok Already, Get Off My Back! I've Been Busy!

So I haven't blogged in a while. I have had a rough 3 months.

My twins are turning 5 next week. Crazy! Ethan had his birthday since the last blog post he's 7, and Christmas came and went. There you have it.

Happy Halloween

So this year Ethan wanted to be a punk. I will admit, he was a good one. But really isn't this something that older kids are when they don't have anything left to be? Like what happened to being a super hero until you are in 4th or 5th grade. He is growing up quick. The twins of coarse wanted to be The Hulk and Iron Man. They got their costumes in September and I bet they had them on every day and Halloween. (No I did not let them go in public with them on until Halloween day! Thank you very much, I do have some pride, not much but a little!) I am going to say I got my money out of them for sure! Another great pumpkin patch party at G & G's too. Thanks Gramp for growing a garden and sharing your harvest.

Up-Date On Stella

This girl is growing fast. She is now bigger than Luna and I feel as if she might be taking over our home. She is cute and the boy's (including Scott) are completly taken with her.

She is still a lot of work for me.
